Definitely. Many songs come to mind that would be sweet in this setup.
We could maybe play a bunch of these types in one session so as to save time/money in the mic setup/sound level process.
I know Phish always records in a circular setup, with their amps and things toward the outer ring and themselves toward the middle. So they are standing close together and visually connected to everyone at once, while keeping the sound somewhat isolated.
